Always good prices on produce. Decent cheeses, canned food, and very tasty feteer. The store is always overstocked and crowded but if you know what you're looking for, you'll be fine.
Update, 5 stars. I've been back a couple of times now and I have had nothing but positive experiences. The samosas are spicy and delicious. The spice selection is unparalleled, and the produce very convenient for making Mediterranean food with excellent prices.
Despite looking crowded or disorganized this place looks and smells real and you see what you get. I like all the diversity and choices of smells, tastes, people and it feels like an old fashioned bazaar. The bread is freshly baked, the meat and chicken was good quality and reasonably priced, and the grapes, potatoes and apples were the best I'd tried in years, as well as lemons and tangerines, big batches of dill, the prices were surprisingly low as well. There's a lot of hard work that goes into this place.
Very cool place! They have some amazing international food including really fresh mutton and samosas. I love the spice selection and prices cannot be beat for fresh international grocery store. This has been one of my favorites since I was a kid!
The best beef in metroplex, meat area employees are the best on customer service, they are patient and compliant with the customer, and the prices great.
